PATHWAY TO A20: LATIN AMERICA
An Art Exhibition Celebrating the Americas
CAMACOL launches this expanded initiative by celebrating the visual arts and the extraordinary cultural richness of our hemisphere.
As part of the kickoff to the 47th Hemispheric Congress, CAMACOL will present PATHWAY TO A20: LATIN AMERICA — An Art Exhibition Celebrating the Americas, featuring acclaimed Nicaraguan artist Elsa Basil.
The exhibition brings the arts into CAMACOL’s broader hemispheric mission, creating a meeting point for culture, business, diplomacy and community.
The exhibition is part of CAMACOL’s Pathway to A20, recognizing the importance of art and culture within the broader international dialogue surrounding the G20 and providing a platform to showcase artists and creative talent from throughout the Americas.
Works by Elsa Basil will remain on exhibit at CAMACOL through December 2026, encompassing Miami’s important international arts season, including Art Basel, and further establishing CAMACOL as a space where business, international dialogue, culture, and community come together.
Limited prints of selected works will be available for purchase, with proceeds benefiting the CAMACOL Foundation and its holiday food-distribution efforts.
In another extraordinary gesture of generosity, Elsa Basil has donated one of her curated works to CAMACOL. The work will be auctioned during a special reception planned for November, with proceeds benefiting CAMACOL’s annual Christmas food distribution.
This initiative allows CAMACOL to do something particularly meaningful: support an artist, promote Latin American culture, engage the business community, and ultimately turn that engagement into assistance for families in need.
As part of her generosity and commitment to our community, renowned artist Elsa Basil will donate one of her featured works to the CAMACOL Development Council, to be auctioned at a later date as part of our Hispanic Heritage Month activities and will benefit the CAMACOL Holiday Christmas Basket Distribution, with the cooperating of our Miami Marlins continuing our longstanding tradition of providing holiday food baskets to families in need. This event has been sponsored by CAMACOL’s Francisco Cuellar.
