CAMACOL. Committed to Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability.
In the wake of the pandemic which has affected our community, state, nation and global partners, we are launching a campaign to foster awareness and develop initiatives which focus on corporate social responsibility and sustainability.
Since inception our chamber has never lost sight of the disadvantaged. In the early 80’s we hosted a highly respected VISTA volunteer program (Volunteers in Service to America) which was recognized by the late Ronald Regan; whereby we provided the tools necessary to all who wanted to be entrepreneurs. That program evolved into our Florida Trade initiative where office space, training, were to small minority businesses in the export sector. And, we launched the Christmas Holiday Distribution Drive, which started with the distribution of 30 food baskets and has grown into a massive event providing sustenance to 3000 needy families during the holiday season.
This year, in partnership with the Miami Marlins we were able to continue with this noble initiative.

“In a world where people are constantly faced with the challenge of figuring out what the right thing to do is, we can at least take comfort knowing our decisions do have the ability to make a positive impact. The only questions we have to ask ourselves is how and where” - Joe Chi, President CAMACOL
